The shop of Taller de Cuir is placed since 2005 at 12 carrer del pont. Before, it could be found on the same street but number 12. The old place is preserved as a shop and will take a different personality since it will be taken over by another family's member.
12 del carrer del pont is an old Jewish house built beside of what had been a sinagogue. Ruins of it have been preserved and are on display next to the house along with the Jewish baths. The two floor house reconstruction to host the shop was made preserving a rustic style that keeps the visitor in the medieval athmosphere that reigns in Besalú's streets.
